Film:

David Kitchner, a big Teddy Bear of a guy, was born in Philadelphia where his love of movies was hatched. A 2005 graduate of KU (Political Science with a Film minor), he worked production and hosted shows on KU’s student radio station KJHK while working as a resident assistant and desk manager for the Dept. of Student Housing. Like most college graduates, he had no idea what to do with his new found freedom. So he left to serve in the volunteer program, AmeriCorps, in Washington State where he headed a media program for an impoverished rural school and devoured Washington apples by the barrel. Upon returning to Kansas, he stumbled into the office of Gizmo Pictures and for 4 years worked as an editor, videographer and animator. David is now attending Chapman University for his MFA in film production with a concentration in cinematography.
