One venue will be designated specifically for artwork by students K- 12.
Submissions should include name, school, and price if for sale on back of art. All accepted artwork must be ready to display or perform no later than April 2nd, 2012.
K-6 students can submit one piece. K-6 artwork will not be juried; therefore, examples of artwork do not need to be submitted. The visual art should be matted and ready to hang when delivered.
Junior High and High School students can submit 1 – 2 pieces. These submissions will be juried, but only against other Junior High and High School students.

Visual Art : (2D, 3D)
Students can submit electronically (no larger than 25 MB total) through Rethink Topeka’s email at rethinktopeka@gmail.com or send digital jpeg files no more than 25 MB 300 dpi on CD. Only digital images of work on CD or attachments via email will be accepted. Minimum acceptable file requirements: 8 x 10 “ by 150 dpi JPG.
Files must be saved as: Artist Last Name.First Initial.Title of Art… for example marable.j.midwesternflight

Film/Video:
Students can submit a 2-3 minute segment of the film/video on DVD to: 136 SW Kendall Ave., Topeka, KS 66606 Links to youtube are also accepted.
Performance : (Music, Dance, Performance Art)
Students can submit 1-2 songs for music performance on CD, 2-3 minutes of footage for performance art and dance on DVD to: 136 SW Kendall Ave., Topeka, KS 66606
Poetry and Prose:
Students can submit 1-2 poems or works of fiction or non-fiction to rethinktopeka@gmail.com. Attachments should be in Microsoft Word. Maximum of 4 pages, double spaced per piece please.

Artwork due in Topeka: (location to be determined) April 5th – 10th, 2012. All 2D and 3D artwork needs to be ready to display upon delivery. For performers, a schedule performance time and location will decided and sent out the first week of April so that musicians, dancers, and poets can plan accordingly. Film makers will also be provided with time and location of the showing so that plans can also be made accordingly.)
Pick up of artwork: Work will be on display until June 1st at the latest. Show may move from original location to an alternate location. Works will be included in May’s First Friday Art Walk. Pick up information will be provided closer to event. Work not picked up by June 15th becomes property of ReThink Topeka.
Entry Fee- Optional fee of $2.oo to be payed via paypal to rethinktopeka@gmail.com Pay only if you can help support this event. No young artists will be turned away over $2!
Sales: 10% commission will be kept from sales (to cover cost of checks, mailing the checks, and to help fund next years event).
